Great location and tasty food!
Had a fab stay for a night. The spot was super convenient, not far from the M56 and just a quick jaunt to Warrington. The room was nice enough but could use a little bathroom paint touch up. Big shoutout to the Sunday roast – it was spot on! Staff were lovely and super helpful throughout. Would go back for sure!

The Standard Double Room offers a cozy atmosphere with ample space for two. Its strategic position allows for easy access to local amenities and attractions, making it a decent base for exploration.
There’s a screw jabbing out of one of the chains in the double room, which I’ve mentioned before and it still hasn’t been fixed. Only one chair in a double room isn’t practical, forcing one of us to perch on the bed. The bathroom decor lacks care. the paint's peeling off and the trim is coming loose. I reported a missing plug for the hand basin four months ago, and nothing has changed. Having to use a deodorant cap to wash my hands isn’t ideal after dropping £140 for two nights. Last, I recall a bizarre incident where the pub had run out of Bitter during my last stay. a pub with no Bitter is just odd.

The location is great and the room, although a bit dated, was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. they even made our dogs feel special. A few issues with slow service during peak hours and some bathroom wear could improve the experience, but overall it was a nice stay.

The central location provided an excellent meeting point for family, complemented by delicious food and welcoming staff. The room was comfortably set up for relaxation after a long journey, especially with two Dalmatians in tow. Unfortunately, the WiFi was frustratingly poor, and some areas of the hotel showed signs of wear and tear, which was a bit disappointing. the accommodating nature of the staff made the experience worthwhile.

Good Staff, Management Needs Attention
The staff here are friendly and welcoming. a lack of hot water marred our stay as we were preparing for a wedding. Breakfast next morning tempted us, but poor communication left us wanting.

Room comfortable with nice cotton sheets. WiFi signal very poor, couldn't get work done. Friendly staff and good food at the pub. Clean facilities but bathroom had a couple of hairs.

I appreciated the location near the town center. The staff greeted me warmly and were helpful during check-in. The room was clean and tidy. I only found one set of towels in the bathroom, which felt insufficient for a double room. Tea supplies were lacking too. not enough teabags or milk left for my stay. The WiFi was a significant issue. It was frustratingly slow, making it hard for me to complete some work I had planned. I noticed the room didn't match the advertised pictures. Despite these problems, the comfortable bed and proximity to amenities made my stay tolerable.
